Occurs when pilots are unavailable or an aircraft develops a mechanical issue during start‑up.
Flights may be cancelled if ATC cannot grant airspace clearance, or if temporary flight restrictions (TFR) are in place for VIP movements or major events.
High temperatures reduce aircraft performance, and not all planes cannot open canopies (windows) in flight. Strong or gusty winds can also affect a pilot’s ability to control and land smaller aircraft safely.
